What are the tube holders for?
The PlasmaPrep™ will accommodate a variety of tube sizes routinely used for drawing 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10mL specimens. Disposable tube holders must be used to provide support for the tubes, help prevent breakage and contain specimen and tube fragments in the event of a tube failure. Always use the correct tube holders.

Why do I have to buy different tube holders for the same size tubes?
The tube holders for rubber stopper tubes are slightly different from the tube holders for plastic top tubes. They are specifically made to provide proper tube seating and support.
